Do not use form 1040ez. Because you have stated a business in 2007 you need to do the following:
File a form 1040 (Not a 1040 a or 1040ez)
Do a schedule for your business income and expenses
Do a form for self-employment tax
Do you job and business income together, not separately for the IRS. Do it separately will only make you do a 1040x. This is an amended return to change or add any information for a already file IRS return.

you are liable for both,,so i would say yes...
i know it would be to your benefit,,,however since your llc...i do not knowhow that would complicate yourself in the future when your business starts to grow,,,,it is good to keep them separate but if money is the issue at the present ,,i would file them as one....im a dba.soul proprietor for 13 years and i file only once...

honestly it's not that hard if you have internet access and can print out the forms. i've always done mine myself because i didn't have the money to buy software or get someone else to do it. basically you just have to follow the step by step instructions.
for your federal taxes, go to www.irs.gov, click on "individuals" and click on "1040 central". get form 1040 and the instructions. then just go through the instructions step by step. if you don't understand what they're talking about, you can usually safely put a "0" on that line. if something sounds like it applies to you, you can get any necessary forms and instructions from the IRS website. do be sure to go through the instructions for "alternative minimum tax" to make sure you don't owe it. also, if you make less than a certain amount you can get help filing your taxes for free, see the IRS website for details. be sure to keep a copy of everything you send the IRS.
also, if you decide to do it yourself, ask your brother-in-law for a copy of your tax forms (he should have kept this) from last year. if you haven't had any major life changes in the past year, you should be able to use the old forms as a guideline.
once you finish your federal taxes, type "(your state) taxes" into a search engine and you should be able to find your state's tax website. most (if not all) states provide forms online and many will let you file online for free.

It's not that hard. You just have to do your taxes slowly and carefully. I know lots of people who do their own taxes. Turbo Tax is easy to follow.

It's best to go to professional people. Tax laws are constantly changing. We switched and now get more money back to us.

Because they can. That's why people are pissed off and protesting. They want Washington to change the laws. Here's the wrinkle though - we have become global and we don't want them all going over seas, which is why I think they should only be taxed if they don't hire enough US employees. It should be required that their payroll tax be in direct correlation to their overall US market profits, otherwise they can be taxed import fees or penalty taxes for failure to meet the requirements.

Would you prefer they go out of business and not be there to sell you the stuff you want and need? Don't blame the businesses, blame the government for trying to hide taxes that they know consumers will have to pay by taxing businesses instead of taxing you directly hoping you will blame businesses instead of government.
